In my previously published article in this periodical, I mentioned the importance of Life Cycle Management (LCM) of military equipment as a key task of the Ministry of Defence and the Czech Armed Forces. This issue encompasses various perspectives, primarily those of the manufacturer and the user.

AURA Codification Agency operates mainly on the domestic market and in Slovakia, but also indirectly in other countries using the MC CATALOGUE information system for codification support, developed and implemented by this Brno-based company.

The highlight of the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of AURA was a work and social gathering of the company’s employees, first in the unique environment of Kocanda in Kravsko, whose history dates back to the 11th century, and then in beautiful Znojmo listed by UNESCO among the fifty most magnificent “small” towns in the world.

Our family-owned Brno-based company, with a presence on five continents, has achieved another significant success this year. We made it to the finals of the 4th year of the Czech Export Awards (OCE), traditionally organised by the HELAS platform, the largest business community in the Czech Republic (hnec.cz).

The 6th edition of the international codification courses, organized by the University of Defence (UNOB) and the National Codification Bureau (NCB) of the Czech Republic, with the all-round support from AURA, took place in August and September in Brno.

Already the 6th edition of the international codification courses known as NCS College is being prepared by the University of Defence and the National Codification Bureau of the Czech Republic in Brno, at the turn of August and September.

AURA, s.r.o., a purely Czech ICT company, was founded in the spring of 1989. Since its establishment, it has focused primarily on the development and implementation of logistics software.
